This is a book about a Christina historical fiction novel set in Nazi-occupied Paris during WWII, focusing on two book lovers, Corinne Bastien and German professor Christian Bauer, who form an unlikely alliance to protect banned books from destruction. The story, inspired by a real "library of burned books" in Paris, explores themes of literature, freedom, and faith as they navigate the dangers of preserving truth against an oppressive regime.
