The 2025 Fall - Spring SEDF / FrogDaddy Meetup is upon us, newly renamed to Southeast HerpFest! Come out to the largest meet and greet in the Southeast, featuring free food and some of your favorite vendors across the southeast! WE HAVE REMODELED THE STORE! The store is brand new! Each vendor can have a maximum of two tables, first come first served. There are 19 tables available for vending. You must pm Alex Menke to reserve tables.
Expectations while attending:
The facility is quite large and we will have staff doing tours, hanging out, and assisting with any questions and curiosities. Rudeness to vendors, rudeness to others, major disruptions of any kind, damage to property, or theft will not be tolerated, and will result in appropriate action. The facility is monitored by 8 cameras with live, 2 way audio recording in the front room, main hall, breeding room, and vivosun area, so we will have security at the event. If you have small children, please be aware of them at all times. No persons are to open tanks for ANY reason without staff supervision or permission.
Food will be provided indoors. Cold food (breakfast pastries, cookies, bagels, etc) will be provided immediately upon arrival. Hot food may or may not be provided as we are trying to work out food trucks or vending options. We will update this post with more information as we move forward. Please be aware of all potential food allergies before attending.
All vendors and pending vendors have been contacted about tables, custom shirts, electric use, etc. There are no fees to vend, there are no fees to attend, and no fees for the food and refreshments inside. We want this event to be fun, full of love for the hobby, and friendship. We rely on help and your support to keep these events free of charge, as they are extremely expensive to put on.
We could potentially see 200-300+ people attending this event, although 150 has been more likely recently. In respect to that, please understand we only have two bathrooms, and you may be in tight quarters at times in the vending hall. Our new crowd control methods are in place, which has resulted in narrower walkways, but less collisions. We will have masks available if you would like to wear one, and we will also have hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility (actually this time, haha).
There is a NO WILD CAUGHT ANIMALS policy in place. No vendor or attendee under any circumstances is to bring wild caught animals to sell or show off. Only captive bred animals are allowed. Duplicates clause is also in effect for all vendors, and will be discussed with each vendor in detail two weeks prior to the event once all inventory is accounted for.
No pets will be allowed at the event, please leave your dogs at home due to potential allergies and disruption.

We want to thank you in advance for making this event a great success over the years, from the humble beginnings of my (Alex's) living room in a 3rd floor apartment with 26 people, to this. We appreciate the support and love for these animals and each other and hope this event is the best yet!
