Join us this February for a refreshing and scenic 6-mile walk starting in the charming village of Selling, near Faversham.Overview:
We start in the village of Selling and walk into Perry Woods which is known for its spectacular views and woodland trails and then further into Rhode Common.
The walk takes in quiet country path and woodland trails. The view point in Perry Woods is not to be missed. The panoramic views stretch over the surrounding countryside and on a clear day you can see to the coast!
The ancient woodland is home to a variety of native trees such as oak, ash and beech. There are also remnants of an Iron Age hillfort within Perry Woods.

🌄 Terrain: Woods trails and village roads. Total elevation 175m
🍽️ Food & Drink: Please ensure you have all food you will need and enough water for this walk. We recommend 1.5L as a minimum. We will stop for a lunch so please bring some food with you.
🐕 Dogs: Well behaved on lead dogs are able to attend this event.
🚽Toilets: Toilets on this walk will be “wild” (a bush or tree). There are toilets for customers at village pub.
🚶♀️ Walk Leader: I am a fully trained Lowland Leader with a enhanced DBS (available upon request) and trained in outdoor first aid. I am also trained and qualified in nutrition, wellness and female health. MJ Outdoor Adventures is fully insured. Your safety is our priority.
