Practical and Theoretical training on how to verify a death. For Registered Professionals only.
About this Event

This session will be hosted by Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Priority given to professionals in the Kent and Medway Area.

A face-to-face training session to registered professionals on the legal and ethical aspects of Verification of Expected Deaths. A demonstration of the clinical process for verifying will be shown and individuals will be able to practice this process. The roles of different professionals are explained when a person dies. Communication with the bereaved is key. By attending this session, you will be assessed for your classroom competency and your competency certificate will be sent to you.

If you are unable to attend, please can you notify us as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.

A minimum of 3 people will need to be booked in order for this training to take place.
