Theresa Easter Photographer and Capricious Well-being are honoured to present the 8th Annual Self Love & Empowerment Event—a deeply intentional gathering designed to celebrate women exactly as they are.
Sanctuary Gardens is a family-owned private acreage overlooking Okanagan Lake. Surrounded by vineyard views, wildflower fields, and lush gardens, the space itself becomes part of the magic—inviting you to slow down, soften, and reconnect.
Join us for an evening of laughter, vulnerability, connection, and celebration—culminating in a powerful, liberating photoshoot where you are invited to fully embrace your body, your story, and your presence.
We are honoured to welcome live music by Aidan Mayes. Aidan is a West Kelowna-based singer-songwriter known for crafting emotionally rich songs that blend heartfelt lyricism with a soulful, intimate voice. Inspired by 90s alternative pop and the spirit of the Lilith Fair era, her music explores love, resilience, and the pursuit of joy. Through warm, engaging performances layered with personal storytelling, Aidan creates a space that feels both grounding and deeply connective.
Theresa Easter Photography brings her signature ability to see women through a lens of softness, strength, and authenticity. Her approach to photography is both playful and deeply intentional, creating a space where women feel safe to let their guards down, be witnessed, and be celebrated. This is more than a photoshoot, it’s an experience of being held, reflected, and reminded of your beauty in its most honest form.
Sky Edwards, founder of Capricious Well-being, will gently guide the emotional heart of the evening. Known for her raw honesty, warmth, and “chronic oversharing,” Sky creates spaces where women feel safe to be real, messy, whole, and human. Through guided connection, reflection, and conversation, she invites you to come home to yourself, to soften the stories you’ve carried, and to remember that you were never meant to do this alone.
Together, this experience weaves art, music, storytelling, and connection into something truly transformative.
As part of the evening, Sanctuary Gardens will provide fresh flowers for each guest to create a personalized flower crown with step by step instructions from Simply Floral. Yours to wear during the shoot and take home as a keepsake. Full group portraits and smaller group creative images will be captured, and all edited images will be shared in a downloadable gallery.
Our intention is to celebrate the beauty of women in all forms—across sizes, shapes, identities, and lived experiences.
We invite you to wear what makes you feel most like yourself. For ease during the group photos, we recommend wearing underwear beneath your outfit. Those who feel called are welcome to participate in a powerful group photo in their underwear an optional moment designed to honour body diversity, vulnerability, and self-love.
A model release form will be provided at the event.
