About this Event
In this pay-what-you-can fortnightly class from Felix, you’ll use rubber stamps, decorative printed papers and magazines to create resources to uplift your life. A poster to remind you you’re amazing, or help you focus an intention. A star-chart to help you keep track of something you need to track. A moodboard to celebrate and remind you of your creative goals. A collage to help process the news.
The class is inspired by parts of Felix’s popular online journaling course - KNITSONIK Bullet Journaling - which focuses on using a dot-grid journal as a place of uplift, self-care, dream-building, creative play and helpfulness. However you don’t have to do the course or keep a journal to do the class. If you do use a planner or journal, bring it along and integrate our rubber stamps and collage play into your journaling joy! However, it’s not essential by any means. If you don’t use a journal or a planner, you can still use Felix’s creative ideas to make individual pages or posters to uplift your life.
The focus is not on great art or making beautiful, perfect things; it’s on using rubber stamps and collage for self-care; for creative reminders to you; and to create meaningful resources to help you overcome life’s challenges and celebrate its joys.
Materials: If you have a journal or planner that you use, bring it along by all means. Otherwise, all paper, collage materials, glues ink-pads and rubber stamps will be supplied.
Class format: Felix will talk about her journaling practice at the start of each class, and show you examples of the kinds of things you could make to get your creative ideas flowing. We’ll then talk about what you could make and spend the rest of the class making it!
