VMFA Reynolds Hall
What began as a film workshop in 1969 is now a thriving non-profit that has been documenting the culture of eastern Kentucky and greater Appalachia ever since. The program: Stranger with a Camera, Long Journey Home, Bright Morning Stars, The Johnsons of Hemphill, and a short work-in-progress on homelessness in Appalachia with a focus on the differences between the rural/urban experience.
