About this Event
Seguin-Guadalupe County Black History Bus Tour
Hop on for a fun in-person journey through the rich Black history of Seguin and Guadalupe County! This bus tour will take you to key sites, stories, and landmarks that highlight the incredible contributions and culture of the Black community. Perfect for history buffs and curious minds alike—come learn, connect, and celebrate!
Board and unboard location is Davila's BBQ. Free parking.
Our goal is to foster a deeper understanding of Seguin’s Black history and resilience by visiting critical historic sites, such as The Hill, Jakes Colony, Sweet Home, Zion Hill, Capote and much more.
For many of our participants, this will be a transformative, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience learning about places where history was made. While some locations are no longer present, many residents still hold memories of their existence. By supporting this journey, you are helping to educate and inspire the next generation of leaders and learners.
