The Parenting Place and Child Abuse Prevention Network of Montana (CAPNMT) are proud to collaborate on a special screening of Seen: The Film and an online auction the week of November 3rd to raise critical funds for child abuse prevention across Montana. This event is more than a fundraiser—it is an opportunity to spark awareness, conversation, and action. Each year, approximately 1,500 confirmed cases of child abuse and neglect are reported in Montana. Behind each number is a child whose safety, well-being, and future are at risk. The impacts ripple outward—affecting families, schools, communities, and our state as a whole.
Funds raised will support direct services for families, professional training for those working with children, and public awareness efforts designed to reduce risk factors, strengthen protective factors, and ensure every child grows up in a safe, nurturing environment.
By coming together for this event, our community is not only raising resources, but also building momentum for a healthier Montana—one where children are protected, families are supported, and prevention is a shared responsibility.
Seen is a transformative documentary that reveals how we cannot truly see our children until we’ve done the work of seeing ourselves. The film explores how healing our emotional wounds can transform not only our own lives but also the lives of our children. Offering tools to break generational patterns and build deeper connections, Seen invites viewers to spark the healing journey and create healthier, more compassionate families.
