Hello there We hope you’ve had a great Christmas and New Year break.
And hope that you can join us as we look forward to our sixteenth year of monthly worship and prayer “burns”, gathering worship leaders - and worshippers - from across the churches, to seek Jesus wonderful Face in Durham. To seek Him for His own sake, but also knowing that as we do that, there’s an overflow that breaks strongholds in our city and region.
So we are filled with hope as we seek Him and see Him, and know Him moving among us by His Spirit, opening our eyes to the full measure of His reality with us. And we’re filled with hope that, though there is darkness over the peoples and over our nation, His Light is surely going to break through.
"I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant,
and their faces shall never be ashamed." Psalm 34:4,5

Are you wondering what we are all about?
After fifteen years of monthly gatherings, our heart is still to worship Jesus, overflow in intercession, and from that place to overflow into mission.
-- Jesus, Our First Love --
We’re making a space for Jesus to receive the worship of our hearts, to seek Him first because our greatest desire is simply to know Him. If that was all we were doing, it would be enough.
-- Face to face encounter --
We want the people of God to encounter His reality and see His glory. As we give time in worship and to press into His presence, He opens the eyes of our hearts, and we see the beauty of His face.
-- Keeping the fire burning --
We join as a body of many parts to make these extended times possible. As individuals we may only have a short time free, but together over the hours we lift a covering over our city and region… and prepare the way for those who follow.
-- A House of Prayer for all nations --
In this place of encounter, we catch the Father’s heart of compassion - and seeing His greatness our hearts believe all things are possible. It’s an amazing place to intercede for the church and the lost, for our city and nation.
-- Seeking the lost --
Sometimes this will be a springboard for us to make Jesus known in the streets. We may go out in pairs looking for Spirit led divine appointments, or as a larger group to worship and see the atmosphere change, and lives touched as we do.
-- Unity in the church -
We want to be a blessing to the whole body of Christ. We aren’t starting a new church! We honour local church leaders and want everything we do to release blessing back into the wider body.
