Join us on March 21st to plant seeds in containers for you to take home! This event is free for all ages. Seed planting starts at 1pm.At 11 am - Joan Hiddema, Michigan Master Gardener/Master Naturalist will be at the museum to talk about the VBCD tree sale and the benefits of growing native trees and shrubs as well as where to purchase native plants, flowers and seeds. If you have been thinking about how to replace your non-native horticultural plants with native species, she will share some of her experiences in her own garden and at the museum.
