Dr Nick White is a Principal Advisor – Net Gain, at Natural England, a non-departmental public body in the United Kingdom sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).
His current work focuses on the implementation and rollout of biodiversity net gain for Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) developments and the forthcoming approach to National Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP) developments. His work covers legislation, the biodiversity metric and biodiversity net gain standards and guidance. He work closely with developers of all types, landowners, national and local governments, eNGOs and academics.
Nick featured in the ENDS Report Powerlist UK 100 most influential environmental professionals 2022-2025.
