Here is your chance to pitch your story idea, face-to-face, to content producers in Charlotte Area newsrooms. We will essentially give you the cheat code first during the Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists'Secrets to Accessing the Media Workshop.” The event is FREE.

Anyone who sits through the two-hour session featuring news professionals providing insider strategy gets to “Pitch A Professional”. We will also provide a guide with best practices and contact information for future use. The workshop is ideal for individuals with meaningful ideas, businesses with a new concept, community groups, nonprofits, headliners, you name it. Media professionals will tell you what draws their attention, answer your questions, and then let you present your idea one-on-one to people from several different local newsrooms. Space is limited.
