Directed by Jeremy Workman, Secret Mall Apartment tells the true story of eight Rhode Island artists who secretly built and lived in an apartment inside Providence Place Mall from 2003 to 2007. What began as a hidden prank unfolds into a surprising and deeply thoughtful exploration of art, rebellion, friendship, and the meaning of creative purpose.
Long whispered about as local legend, the story is finally told using original footage shot inside the apartment and a reunion of the artists nearly two decades later.
