Join us at the Betty Mae Kramer Gallery & Music Room on the second Wednesday of each month for an evening of jazz! This month's performance features pianist Peter Edelman, bassist Sal DeRaffele, and vocalist Cybele Mayes-Osterman.
Admission is FREE for both events, but advanced registration is required due to limited capacity. Reservations are limited to 2 tickets per person. For group reservations, please contact us directly at [email protected].
Jazz at the Kramer is presented by Paul Carr's Jazz Academy of Music in partnership with the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County and curated by Paul Carr.

Peter Edelman (left)
Peter Edelman is a Washington, DC–based jazz pianist who has been a vital presence on the city’s music scene for more than four decades. Known for a deeply soulful sound that is both electrifying and soothing, his playing reflects a profound emotional range and mastery of the jazz tradition.

Cybele Mayes-Osterman (center)
Cybele is a Washington, DC–based jazz vocalist whose sound reflects a lifelong love of classic jazz infused with adventurous improvisation.

Sal DeRaffele (right)
Sal is a New York–bred bassist whose musical roots were shaped by early training at the Westchester Conservatory. He went on to build a career in live performance, spending time on the road with the legendary Dr. John and working with notable jazz artists including Carter Jefferson.
