The parks and neighborhoods of Bellingham offer birders a wide array of unique habitats to explore. Join NCAS on the 2nd Sunday of each month at Little Squalicum Estuary. We will visit the estuary to see which birds are making use of the newly restored habitat, take a look at the new Great Blue Heron rookery taking shape by the dog park, and walk out the pier to see which ducks are sitting out on the bay. We will meet on April 12 at 9:00 am at the Little Squalicum Parking area on the corner of Marine Drive and West Illinois St..
For accessibility information, see the entry on Birdability.org. For questions about the trip, contact [email protected].
