Jenny Sowden has done it all; she teaches and DJ's, she's studied over 20 forms of movement, she runs a weekly, and she's run a national-level weekend. This is the first time in ages we've gotten her for Second Sun Rising. And we'll have local favorite Alex Bittle DJ'ing too!
💵 Admission is $10-30, sliding scale, cash only. (We take IOUs)
🦠 Please don't wear scented products. especially cologne or perfume, as we have community members who are allergic!
💃 No Dance Partner? No experience? No problem! We welcome everyone, regardless of background or skill level.

Our community is all about sharing the joy and release of connection. All ages, all backgrounds, all bodies, all human. We operate on a not-for-profit basis and are led by volunteers.

🎶 Fusion Dance:
Fusion, for us, means borrowing and adapting moves from various dances to partner with a wide range of music. Expect tunes spanning pop, electronic, swing, blues, Latin, and more. We're not too picky about dance steps, as long as everyone is having a blast. Most folks will be partner dancing, but solos, triples, and blobs are welcome too.
♿ The Masonic Hall is not currently wheelchair accessible; it's one level of stairs down to get to the dance floor. There's a few stairs up at the main entrance, there is a side entrance at ground level with stairs down. If you need a sound feed for hearing aids, please contact us in advance.

We're a short walk from the Porter Square T station.
🚗 Parking:
All street parking is free on Sundays, no resident sticker required. Do not park in the Porter Square shopping plaza, they will tow.

⚕️ COVID Measures: Masks are optional. We will probably bring additional air filters. We've been at the lowest of our four precaution levels since August of 2024.
