You and your family are lovingly invited to Second Saturday Story Hour with Ms. Stephanie Stuart- a monthly celebration of reading, crafts, and imagination, where children can see playful expressions of gender diversity, free from indoctrinating ideas of what they “should” be.This event is free for all ages, but the storybooks are usually most interesting for children under 10 years old. It takes place each month inside the safe and affirming walls of the CCC in downtown New Port Richey, in collaboration with Pasco Pride. Guardians must attend to their children at all times. Snacks will be provided, and all families will leave with a book donated by The Paperback Exchange Bookstore!
Families attending DQSH are encouraged to park in the church’s driveway on the side of the building and enter through the church office door to avoid engaging with any protestors who may wish to disturb the peace. Your event organizers are skilled at physical and digital security as well as community safety, but we ask that all participants arrive with a shared commitment to peace and love through de-escalation.
This has always been and will remain a free event. If you feel inclined to donate to the Church, Pasco Pride, or Ms. Stephanie Stuart herself, it is always welcomed.
