About this Event
Have you heard of the Second Century Society? If you’ve been a past member, you already know what a great opportunity this club offers for keeping in touch with Clemson University.
If you aren’t a past member, let me fill you in: In 1989, a dedicated group of Clemson alumni and friends in the Columbia area formed an organization called The Second Century Society. Their goal was to provide a forum for Clemson to share its message with alumni and friends of Clemson. It is a networking opportunity as well as an opportunity to learn what is going on in the academic and research fields at our school and what you can do to help Clemson accomplish its mission. Membership is open to all that share an interest in Clemson.
As we launch our 2024-2025 membership drive, I extend to you a sincere invitation to join us!
Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 12 for our first official lunch of the 2024/2025 season. We are so excited to announce we’ll be officially kicking off the season with Clemson University's Vice President of Advancement, Brian O'Rourke.
We are also pleased to announce that our original kick-off lunch previously scheduled for October 1, has now been re-scheduled for Tuesday, December 3 with the same speaker, Tony Wagner, Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer, Clemson University. Any single-lunch tickets purchased for that date will be carried over to the December 3 date.
While we are still building out the schedule for the 2024/2025 season, we will continue to meet on Tuesdays at lunch around the following times of the year:
