Join FRIENDS, Inc. for our 2nd Annual Steps Against Sexual Assault 5K Walk/Run, a powerful community event held in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and all survivors of sexual violence.
Last year, our community showed up in force, filled the course, and together raised over $12,000 to support survivor advocacy, prevention education, and 24/7 crisis response services. It was more than a fundraiser, it was a public declaration that sexual violence will not be ignored in our community.
This year, we’re bringing that same energy back to Ridge Run Park with a brand-new route featuring a mix of paved and rocky/bumpy terrain along the beautiful Ice Age Trail, expanded activities, and even more opportunities to stand in solidarity. The event will take place rain or shine (or even in the bitter cold!) because when it comes to supporting survivors, we show up no matter what.
Whether you walk, run, volunteer, sponsor, or cheer from the sidelines, every step helps ensure survivors in Washington County have access to safety, healing, and hope.
