The 2025 Sebastian County Opioid Task Force Summit will bring together experts from law enforcement, healthcare, and prevention fields to address the critical issue of substance use disorder and its impact on pregnancy and youth (birth to 18). Attendees will hear from a diverse group of speakers who will discuss the effects of substance use on maternal and child health, as well as effective strategies for prevention and intervention. The summit aims to foster collaboration and provide valuable insights to help combat this pressing issue within the community.
A special panel at the summit will feature representatives from key youth prevention organizations, including Restore Hope 2GEN, Shield Our Youth, The Call, Harbor House, Guidance Center, and Arkansas Children's NCOR. These experts will discuss their efforts and programs aimed at preventing substance use among youth in the community.
