ABOUT OUR GUEST: Patrick Tran (He/Him)
Patrick started dancing WCS in 2013 at the behest of his sibling, who had been dancing for years at the time. While drawn to the creative potential and collaborative communication of the dance itself, it took a long time for him to find his own space within the community. He works now to make inclusive dance spaces more accessible for the local queer community, and encourages students of all backgrounds to pursue finding their own voices within dance.
Patrick started out as a Leader in WCS, but prefers Following. He brings deep knowledge and skills in both roles to his teaching. You can find Patrick teaching WCS at Reverie Ballroom.

3:30 pm Register, warm up, and volunteer to set up
4:00 pm Intermediate WCS Workshop with Patrick : <title tbd="">
Prerequisite: No WSDC points required to attend. Make sure you are comfortable with all basic patterns and a few variations (Push, Pass, Tuck, Whip).
5:00 pm All Levels WCS Workshop with Patrick : <title tbd="">
Prerequisite: Know basic patterns (Push, Pass, Tuck, Whip).
5:30 pm FREE 1 Hour Beginner Lesson with Miles (upstairs)
6:00 pm Social dance starts, with DJ Latte
9:00 pm Social dance ends & volunteer to clean up
