About this Event
Join us for another edition of the Seattle Indies Speaker Series. This month we are featuring two great speakers. First up is Paul Kankiewicz, lead developer on the action platform multiplayer game Grapplers: Relic Rivals. Recently released on Steam and featured at Seattle Indies Expo 2024. Paul will talk about the full development and release process and what it was like going from being a technical designer at a triple A studio to founding an indie studio and releasing his first game.
After that we'll have a lively Q&A session with Gavin Eisenbeisz of Two Star Games and creator of the viral indie hit Choo Choo Charles. Gavin will be answering all of your questions about what it was like to make the game, have it go viral, and deal with the attention that came along with it.
Schedule:
6-6:30: Check-in, pizza/networking
6:30-7:30: Grapplers: Relic Rivals Retrospective
7:30-8: Break/networking
8-9: Choo-Choo Charles Q&A
