Season’s Beatings: The Rabbit that Stole Christmas is a public SCA demo and festive fight practice taking place on December 21st from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 2:00 p.m. at the Fort Nisqually Picnic Area. Join us for a day of holiday cheer, camaraderie, and combat as fighters and artisans of the Society for Creative Anachronism bring the spirit of the season to life—complete with historical flair and a touch of mischief.
This event will feature a garbed fight practice open to the public, with fighters asked to bring a toy donation for Gabby’s Kids and to make their fighting gear festive for the occasion. The populace is encouraged to bring handcrafts to display or work on, helping to showcase the variety of skills and artistry within the SCA. There will also be a potluck, though power access is limited, so attendees should bring portable power supplies if needed. As this is a public demo, everyone is encouraged to be their best Chatelaine selves and help introduce the public to the magic of the Current Middle Ages.
