Seasonal Tea Times 2024  @ Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin

As much as tea culture is a source of grounding, the seasons of nature are a force of rhythm in our lives. Being inspired by the seasons, we look forward to co-creating 4 tea community gatherings this year at C*SPACE. We invite you to collaborate and ‘build’ these open teahouses together with us! From informal social tea hangouts to workshops and additional creative and artistic activities, we warmly call for your contributions! Saturday, June 1st  TEA SPRING 春茶 - The kick-off of the series coincides  with ‘ART SPRING Berlin - Offene Ateliers, the annual Kunstfestival in the district. While hanging out for some chilled hours over tea in the beautiful art-surrounded environment at C*SPACE, you are also invited to take an additional art walk in the neighbourhood. 

Saturday /Sunday, July 13th & 14th TEA SOMMERFEST 凉茶 - Warm temperatures and summer vibes in the air invite us to enjoy the charming outdoor yard in the former furniture factory of C*SPACE. Besides lots of community tea time under the open sky,  and workshops inside, we open the teahouse stage for additional activities: from pottery to poetry, tea travel stories to tea leaves natural dying… we look forward to your ideas and contributions!

Pop-Up Teahouse general entry ticket prices (includes community tea hangouts):

Standard: 20 Euro (single ticket) 

Generous: 30 Euro (if you can, give a little extra to support the community)

Bundle: 50 Euro (summer+ spring combined, 3 days) 

Tea Sommerfestival whole weekend ticket: 30 Euro 

Family ticket (2 adults and 1-x kids under 12): 50   

Reduced fee for those who already bought a workshop ticket: 10 Euro

About

C*SPACE Berlin gGmbH is a purpose-driven creative space for co-working, workshops & events, dedicated to ideas and encounters across borders. Tea culture is a central element not only of the organisational culture at C*SPACE but also do teahouse events with various focuses - from tea as such to topical salon discussions or art and culture - regularly pop-up at this place throughout the year. In the summer of 2021, we launched the ‘Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin-project’ with initial support from the Berlin Senate in the framework of its activities to foster Berlin’s open cosmopolitan spirit, and it has been an ongoing program since then. In 2022, we were honoured to act as location partner for a smaller version of the BTF- Berlin Tea Festival. The Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin is a not-for-profit community & cultural project. The 2024 series is based on community-based economy and donations.
