This is a small group workshop for studio florists, looking at creating large seasonal installations. We will use locally sourced greenery and sustainable mechanics to create a stunning entrance archway to the hotel, mantelpiece display, large urn and window dressing, as well as a garland for Reception and luxury wreaths. Price includes our fave materials list and suggested suppliers guide, delicious lunch at this award winning hotel and refreshments.
By the end of the day participants will have experienced a range of activities and gained valuable floristry skills used for seasonal displays, which are equally transferable to wedding work.
They will also be able to take portfolio photographs of the group installations we have worked on.
Jo is an award winning trained florist, specialising in sustainable mechanics and promoting British grown flowers. She has worked with the Sustainable Floristry Network to develop their Diploma in eco floristry, with a background of 25 years teaching sustainability university. As well as running a Flower School, Jo is also a flower farmer - and was delighted to supply flowers for the King’s Coronation at Westminster last year.
The cost is £175. This workshop is limited to 4 places.
