Are you longing to deepen your relationship with medicinal plants, the seasons, and the land beneath your feet?Each spring at Ravensong, we open our gates to a small group of local interns who want to learn not just about herbs, but through them.
It is hands-on, practical learning that happens through real farm work, in real time, as the season unfolds.
Our seasonal farm internships are an immersive work-for-learning exchange on our small medicinal herb farm in Black Creek, guided by two experienced herbalists and growers.
This exchange is designed for those who want to:
• Get their hands in the soil
• Learn plant propagation and seasonal timing
• Harvest and process fresh medicinal plants
• Build confidence growing and making their own medicine
• Work as part of a small, grounded, supportive team

🌱 What the Spring Session Focuses On
Spring is a powerful window on the farm.
During this session we focus on:
• Seed starting and plant propagation
• Transplanting and early season cultivation
• Harvesting spring greens and rising sap barks
• Fresh plant processing
• Understanding seasonal timing and ethical harvest
(Our late-summer and fall sessions focus on flowering herbs, tincture making, root harvest, and seed saving.)

Location: Ravensong Medicinal Herb Farm, Black Creek (Comox Valley, Vancouver Island)
Dates: One Wednesday per week
Spring session: April 22nd - July 15th 2026
Cost: Free (work-learning exchange)
Spots: Space limited to 6 interns
