About this Event
Step into the colorful world of natural dyeing and spend time creating with plants, flowers, and seasonal color. In this hands-on 2-hour workshop, students will learn the foundations of natural dye techniques while working with a variety of fibers and materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the earth.
Together we’ll explore how everyday botanicals, garden plants, and seasonal abundance can transform cloth and fiber into vibrant, naturally dyed treasures. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with different colors, textures, and dye methods while gaining knowledge they can continue using at home.
Each student will leave with naturally dyed take-home pieces, new skills, and inspiration to continue building their own dye practice — whether that means starting a dye garden, foraging responsibly, or simply finding new ways to connect creativity with the natural world.
This class is beginner-friendly, playful, and rooted in slowing down, making with your hands, and celebrating the beauty of seasonal color. Perfect for creatives, gardeners, fiber lovers, and anyone curious about plant magic.
