About this Event
This is a seasonal, in-person yoga series offered over four Sunday mornings.
I created AyurYoga for women over 40 who feel that their body has changed: energy is different, recovery takes longer, and many of the things that used to help no longer work the same way.
Most of us already know what’s considered healthy and recommended.
We’ve read it, tried it, and often pushed ourselves to keep doing it - even when it stopped feeling supportive.
This series gently flips that approach.
Instead of adding more to your “must” list, we slow down and start by noticing what no longer works for you - even if it’s something that’s supposed to be good for you.
Each class blends:
- steady, accessible movement to feel strong and stable
- conscious rest that helps the nervous system settle
- simple seasonal guidance you can apply in everyday life
Winter is a time when energy naturally turns inward. Many women notice more fatigue, stiffness, emotional sensitivity, or a need for deeper rest - while still carrying full responsibilities.
This practice is shaped to support that reality, not fight it.
The 4-week format allows time to build familiarity, consistency, and trust in your body. One class is often not enough to feel real change. This series offers space to notice what supports you over time, without pressure or perfection.
This is not about fixing yourself or doing yoga the “right” way.
It’s about reconnecting, listening, and choosing what actually supports you now.

Info: Each Sunday follows a similar rhythm, shaped by the needs of winter and the group.
Arrival and settling in
Strength-building movement to support stability, joints, and everyday resilience
Slow, intentional pacing to build strength without exhaustion
Pauses for rest and nervous system support
Time to slow down and notice what feels supportive
Closing rest and integration
The practice evolves gently over the four weeks, allowing strength to build gradually while still honoring the quieter energy of winter.
This is not about pushing harder or getting through a workout.
Strength is developed in a way that feels steady, supportive, and sustainable.
Options are always offered, and listening to your body is encouraged.
