About this Event
Join us for the season finale of the Sunday Afternoon Concert Series at the Church of the Ascension, Hamilton! It all goes down on June 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Come enjoy an afternoon filled with great music. Part of the program will feature works of British born, Hamilton-residing Organist/composer John Laing, which will be performed by Dundas Children's Choir (directed by Lara Housez) and by John himself and Akiko Britz (flute). You will enjoy her flute also in ensemble with Renée Huynh on piano, and later Felicia Valenti will take the stage with her captivating soprano voice with Larisa Gulenco on piano. It's going to be such a fun variety of music not to be missed! There will be refreshments following the concert.
Our goal is to provide quality music experience in relaxed environments for a divese audience to enjoy and benefit frm its beauty. No need to arrange tickets or dress up, just show up with your family and friends stress-free to unwind and be entertained! There is a light refreshment after the concert also. Talk to each other and the musicians while enjoying tea/coffee/cookies...
