BOOKING ESSENTIALJoin us at Hoylake saltmarsh to see what plants and animals call it home! The tide brings in many treasures so lets go exploring!
This event is part of the Operation Seabird Winter Showcase hosted by Our Dee Estuary, British Divers Marine Life Rescue and Friends of Hilbre Island at Hoylake Parade Community Centre on the 22nd of February between 11:00 and 16:00.
The Seashore Search will be led by Wirral Country Park Rangers and the team from RECORD (The Cheshire Ecological Records Centre).
Please meet at the entrance to the Hoylake Parade Community Centre at 13:50 for a 14:00 start.
We will be walking on the saltmarsh so wellies are recommended but sturdy walking boots should also be suitable. Remember to bring layers, a hat and sun cream, woolly hat and gloves, and drinks and snacks.
Low tide is at midday and high tide will be at 18:00 so there will hopefully be plenty washed up for us to examine!
