About this Event
What if the spaces we pass through every day—the cozy corners of a bookstore, the quiet hum of a café, the stillness of a rooftop—weren’t just places to exist but places to truly connect?
Kühani (meaning “stories”) is an intimate gathering that transforms familiar spaces into meeting grounds for new friendships. After hours, when the lights dim and the doors close to the public, we open them back up—this time, not just for being in the space, but for being with each other.
At Kühani we bring together people to share happiness in its most creative forms—music, poetry, storytelling, movement, or whatever expression feels right.
And for those who aren’t performing? Everyone brings something physical that makes them happy. A favourite book, a childhood toy, a polaroid that sparks a memory—something tangible that serves as an easy icebreaker, a way to start a conversation that goes beyond small talk.
Kühani is more than an event. It’s the heartbeat of our project, creating moments that remind us that the opportunity to connect is all around us, waiting to happen. So, the next time you’re in line at that café, instead of staring at the back of a stranger’s head, you might just find yourself saying:
"Hey, I saw you at Kühani! You play the guitar, I play the drums—let’s jam sometime."
Because happiness is best when shared.
Let’s figure this out, together.
