Designed for experienced and aspiring Search & Rescue Practitioners, this six day course offers 48 hours of facilitation by world-leading experts in Lost & Missing Person Search.
Throughout this intensive course, we will provide you with the tools, insight and knowledge to proficiently and effectively act on behalf of your organisation in the coordination of Lost & Missing Person Search activity.
Topics covered will include:
- Planning the initial, developing and extended phases of search activity.
- Logistics and Resource oversight to ensure effective multi-disciplinary and multi-agency interoperability during search deployments.
- Administration and governance of search incidents.
- Ethical, International and National best practice guidelines in searches.
- The impact that the Human Element has upon operations and how it can be used to effectively inform post-incident reviews and root-cause analysis.
