FRH CONFERENCE | Religious Heritage in Transition: Challenges and Solutions

The 2024 FRH Conference, “Religious Heritage in Transition: Challenges and Solutions” will take place on 23-24 September in Krakow, Poland. Participants can also register for an afternoon of study visits to religious heritage sites in Kraków, which will take place on 22 September.

THE THEME

This edition of the conference will explore existing initiatives and possible future solutions to address the challenges brought about by climate change, the emergence of new digital technologies, and the way European citizens understand, interact with and value cultural and religious heritage in the 21st century.

In order to offer a comprehensive view of all of these burning questions, we have divided the event into four sub-themes:

• Resilient Heritage
• Sustainable Solutions
• Digital Futures
• Quality of Life

THE VENUE

Our venue will be the Galicia Jewish Museum, an active institution in the preservation and promotion of Jewish culture in Poland with two permanent exhibitions dedicated to past and contemporary Jewish culture and life in the historic region of Galicia.

The study visits will take place on Sunday, 22 September. The fee to participate in the study visits is 25 EUR/person. You can add the ticket for the study visits when you purchase your conference ticket.
