Seanan McGuire is the creative genius behind the urban fantasy series "October Daye" and "InCryptid," as well as the portal fantasy series "The Wayward Children". She also writes sci-fi and horror fiction under the psuedonym Mira Grant (best known for "Newsflesh" and "Parasitology"). Seanan is also a writer for Marvel Comics ("Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider," "X-Men Black: Mystique," " Age of X-Man: The Amazing Nightcrawler," "Ghost-Spider," "King In Black: Gwenom vs. Carnage") and Magic: the Gathering lore, graphic novels, and fiction novels.
