Jamie Seal (8th Dan and founder of Seal Martial Arts) is coming to Portsmouth in November to host the Seal, Sticks And Steel Seminar.Jamie grew up in Portsmouth but moved away 15 years ago and has now become a successful martial arts instructor in the UK with a particular specialisation in traditional Japanese weapons systems. He also teaches FMA (Filipino Martial Arts) under Guro Tom Edison Peña founder of Lightning Kali Combatives. Jamie is also qualified and insured to teach the use of live bladed weaponry however please do not bring live blades to the seminar.
This seminar has been a long time coming and Jamie Seal is looking forward to returning to his hometown to share some of the knowledge he has gained from training with some of the best martial arts instructors in the UK 🇬🇧
As the title suggests we will be looking at impact and edged weapons during the seminar predominantly the Hanbojutsu (Walking Stick) from Ninjutsu, Solo and Doble Baston from FMA and a mixture of Tantojutsu and FMA Daga drills and bypasses.
The cost of the seminar is £30. Please bring Hanbo, Kali and trainer knives if you have them. Some equipment will be provided but obviously we are travelling from Rugby so will only have a limited amount of equipment we can physically bring.
