Members and Friends are invited to the 2024/25 Southern Dandenongs Community Nursery Inc. Annual General Meeting (AGM), a chance to celebrate the nursery’s achievements, enjoy a light lunch, and hear from a special guest speaker.
Our guest speaker will be Dr Bill Birch, geologist and author, who will present a talk on 'The Geology of the Dandenong Ranges'. Join us to uncover the geological story of the Dandenong Ranges, from the volcanic eruptions that shaped the landscape to the granite of the Lysterfield Hills and later basalt flows.
Date: Saturday 13 September 2025
Time: 12 noon – AGM, followed by a light lunch then a presentation by Dr Bill Birch
Venue: Birdsland Reserve Environment Centre (next to the nursery) at 271 Mount Morton Road, Belgrave Heights VIC 3160
