About this Event
Join us for our first installation of the year at Sculpture Fields, taking place Friday, February 6th at noon, with the unveiling of Meridian Coda by renowned sculptor Ed McCullough. We invite you to gather with us in the park for this special moment as the work enters the landscape.
McCullough began the Meridian series in the late 1990s and completed it in 2011 with Coda. As the artist has shared, he once believed the series had come to an end, until realizing, fifteen years later, that it was not finished with him. Drawing from musical tradition, a coda serves as an independent closing passage, bringing a major theme to a meaningful conclusion. We are incredibly proud and deeply grateful to welcome this significant work to Sculpture Fields.
