Sculpt Yoga Class
Host: Tessa Tovar
Info: Yoga Sculpt is a class that combines yoga postures, cardio, and strength training to create a full-body workout. It often uses hand weights, bands, balls, and body weight to tone muscles, boost metabolism, and build lean muscle.
Yoga Sculpt classes also include core workouts and compound movements that work multiple muscle groups at once. Some examples of these movements include squats, lunges, and bicep curls.
Although yoga sculpt is more intense than traditional yoga classes, it still retains the meditative and mental components of yoga. Some say that yoga sculpt is safe for all fitness levels, but it can be faster-paced than barre or Pilates, and you might move in different directions and angles.

Vinyasa & Yin Yoga
Info: The first half of class (Vinyasa) is designed to establish a steady breathing rhythm, improve blood flow and circulation, and build strength and skill. Vinyasa means to link breath with movement in a special way to achieve a particular outcome. You will learn to let the breath guide your movement as the ultimate teacher. The second half of class (Yin) will focus on deep stretches with long holds (1-5 min). You will be invited to relax and release any muscular contraction, working deep into the connective tissue. This type of yoga stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system response, naturally fostering relaxation and calmness. The combination of these two styles of yoga balances body, mind, and spirit, helping you take your yoga off the mat and into your daily life!
