SCULPT MEMPHIS Presents FACES of BOWIE.The unveiling of four David Bowie faces, now cast in bronze by the Lugar Foundry, featuring the persona's of Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, Tokyo Pop, and Halloween Jack, along with current progress of the 10 foot tall sculpture covered in clay, all by artist Mike McCarthy will be on display at Connect Music on Tuesday evening, February 25 from 6 - 10 p.m.. Wine and cheese to be served.
While there is no admission to the event, Mike is raising money to complete the sculpture and is accepting donations through his Venmo address at @Mike-Mccarthy-46395.

MCA graduate, artist and sculptor Mike McCarthy founded the non-profit Sculpt Memphis to create a sculpture trail in Memphis of key Memphis music legends (as well as those artists influenced by Memphis music,) and to educate the public on Memphis' profound influence on global culture with Blues, Rock and Roll and Soul Music.
