About this Event
Create a bold and functional piece of art in this hands-on woodworking class! In this workshop, students will craft their very own ice cream scoop—a unique, hand held kitchen utensil. This project blends woodworking, shaping, and finishing techniques to produce a striking and practical piece perfect for kitchens, or as a one-of-a-kind gift.
Participants will learn:
- How to cut and shape hardwood using the lathe and sanding tools
- How to attach hardware
- Finishing methods for durability and visual impactNo experience necessary—this class is great for beginners and seasoned makers alike. All materials and tools are provided.
Take home your completed ice cream scoop at the end of the class!Duration: ~3 hours
