Join us at the North Adams Standout on August 30 for Scrubbed Words Day. This will be part of Eileen For Justice's regular Saturday stand-out in front of North Adams City Hall. COME EARLY (12:45) if you want to take part in the SCRUBBING!
For those of you who haven't been part of it before, we each hold up a sign printed with a word that the Trump administration has eliminated from government documents and websites -- words like equality, social justice, disability, female. We'll supply the scrubs and signs, unless you already have some! Troupe members, let us know if you can come with your black scrubs.
New folks, we'll have scrubs and signs available. We will all assemble at 12:45 Saturday August 30 in front of City Hall in North Adams.
Jenny Herzog, a singer and tap dancer who produced the documentary "Hear Me" about local youth impacted by gun violence, will be leading us in some simple steps to jazz up our event. Let's use our words together. Bring friends. We have plenty of scrubs and signs. (If you can RSVP we'll make sure to have your size scrubs.)
