Scripts on Tap is a reading of new works in development for both theatre and screen. Read by professional actors, these readings are the next step prior to mounting a full production of the work. Audience feedback becomes very important in the process.

May 6th: "F Theory" by Megan Loughran and Alex Trow
Two best girlfriends move to New York and order lots of takeout. One falls in love. One gets her PhD. One writes a book. Those were all the same one. The other is so great though! Just give her time. Plenty of time. A little more time?

September 9th: "Oat Squares" by George Barnett
OAT SQUARES is the story of Mary and Ralph, a long-married couple in their late fifties, who have issues. Tensions rise when their adult daughter, Ashley, moves back home with her boyfriend, Justin, who is the leader of a rock band. When Covid breaks out, it will be a miracle if they don’t all K*ll each other before the pandemic does, in this fast-paced, heartwarming, comedy.
October 7th: "Lying to Spielberg" by William Nabel
An aging holocaust survivor makes speeches about his holocaust story. But when a young man knocks on his front door and says he's his son from a one-night stand he had during the war and the Spielberg Shoah Foundation calls to record his holocaust story, secrets, lies and truths, past and present, collide because you can't lie to Spielberg...... or can you?
November 4th: "WillJee" by M. Mary Sullivan
When Will is faced with the impending death of his younger sister Shay, he realizes he must do something to stop it. With a little help from a statue of St. Francis (and possibly also the edibles he ingests like cough drops), he connects with a miraculous power inside him. A power that can heal her but may cost him his own life. If he can only get past his mother, who both believes and doubts it all.
