Initiatives of Change USA, in partnership with Virginia Museum of History & Culture, is excited to present the screening of the FIRST CLASS FILMS with “The Remarkable Story of James Apostle Fields and The Decision" on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, 6pm, at VMHC, 428 N Arthur Ashe Blvd. This event will be free to the public. However, registration is required. Parking will be validated for those who park in the VMHC lot.
Two films tell the riveting story of James Apostle Fields, a member of Hampton University’s first class, and The Decision, which discusses the significance of HBCUs. You will have the opportunity to meet the Producers, Morgan Avery McCoy and Dr. Danielle Wingfield, along with some of the cast and crew, including some of Mr. Fields’ descendants. There will be a post-screening Question & Answer.
