About this Event
We’ll begin the night at The Brunswick Picture House with a premiere screening of Margot’s Got Money Troubles and adapated series by Apple TV of the popular novel by Rufi Thrope.
Join us from 6pm, where you will be welcomed with a cocktail and cinema snacks before we settling in to watch the first episode together.
After the screening, we’ll walk just around the corner (a 10 minute walk) to Ima Asa Yoru, where the evening continues over supper from 8pm. Over dinner we’ll debrief the episode, share thoughts, and dive deeper into the story with a Q&A led by Eilish from The Shameless Book Club.
This evening is for fans of the book Margot’s Got Money Troubles and are excited to see it come to life on screen, as well as anyone who simply wants to spend a thoughtful evening with The Shameless Book Club community — connecting over a shared story and a beautiful night out.
