About this Event
Celebrating Our "Sweet 16th" Annual BCM Summer Shorts Movie Jam: 48 Hour Filmmaker Challenge.
This is one of the Bay Area's most cherished film events. Beginning 16 years ago, our BCMTV family decided to make our very own version of the 48 Hour Film Challenge and give it a much longer name...and this new tradition was born.
Half of the experience comes from the witnessing of audience members to enjoy the on screen presentation of what it looks like to take 3 clues: an object, a phrase and a theme to write, film, edit and turn it into a short film in just 48 hours. The other half of the experience is being able to ask filmmakers about the creative process and gain that inside scoop you can only gleen in the present moment of glory. We hope you can join us to contribute your good vibes & curiousity to the event.
Screening Sunday July 12th 7pm: Films will be screened in front of a live audience and broadcast live on www.bcmtv.org. Filmmakers will be present for interviews and audience questions so we can learn and share in their full experience!
Tickets are just $10
