Digital wellbeing workshop on understanding smartphone habits, attention, and how to reduce screen time in everyday life.
About this Event

Small group workshop in Cambridge – limited spaces to allow meaningful participation.

Many of us feel hooked to our phones — scrolling when we’re tired, distracted when we want to be present, and frustrated with ourselves for not being able to “just disconnect.”

The Screen Free Mind® workshop offers a compassionate space to understand why this happens and to gently explore how we might relate to digital media in ways that align more closely with our values.

This small-group, in-person digital wellbeing workshop in Cambridge offers practical solutions on how we can regain intentional control over our attention and time.

During the workshop we will explore:

  • Why our time feels scarce and why life choices can feel difficult in a digital world
  • How smartphone use affects attention, learning, relationships, emotions, and physical wellbeing
  • How digital platforms are designed to capture and hold our attention
  • Why “just checking one thing” often turns into 20 minutes
  • Most importantly, we will work together on a practical strategy – simple way to step away from the constant pull of digital media and reconnect with what matters most to us.

This workshop is held in a calm and supportive environment with space for reflection, discussion, and practical planning.

You will leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of your relationship with digital technology
  • A more compassionate perspective on your screen habits
  • A realistic personal plan for protecting your time and attention

No prior knowledge is required.

This workshop is for people who:

  • Feel pulled towards their phones even when they don’t want to
  • Are curious about digital wellbeing
  • Want a thoughtful, offline space to reflect

Format: Small group workshop

Duration: 120 minutes

Group size: Limited spaces (max 12)
