We hate to throw away fabric, but what do you do with the scrap pieces? Dragon Bite gets a lot of donations of fabric, & some of it is more project ready than others. I'm hoping together we can sort through some of the fabric that's been piling up for scrap pieces, & talk about some techniques & projects to use up the scrap fabric, & give some of them a try! This May, we're going to make either fabric bookmarks or coasters. I'll have at least one sewing machine available, as well as some supplies for hand sewing. Any projects completed or started during the event are yours to take home, as are all the scraps you'd like for future projects.I'm hoping that this can be a fun & informal gathering of upcycle fans, sewists, crafters, & those who find joy in sorting & talking about fabric & fabric projects.
The event will be held upstairs.
