About this Event
Workshop Description
At Bad Art Club, we celebrate imperfection by using what we have on hand (nothing fancy) to make large-scale, terrible art together. Why? Because of the real beautiful connections that are made in the process.
We're so excited to bring you a very special edition Bad Art Club at Scrap, where we'll be making a collective "Scrap"estry that holds our unique stories, authentic expressions and visions of our future. Participants will work with fabric, sewing, painting--whatever speaks to your creative spirit!
At Bad Art Club, whoever makes the worst art wins, and zero experience is encouraged. The point is not what you make, it's how you feel making it.
At Bad Art Club, you are likely to:
- Experience the freedom to f*ck around and find out
- Rid yourself of doubt and hesitation
- Tap into your radical self expression
- Unlock new levels of creativity
- Get inspired by the people around you
- Detach from outcomes
- Enjoy the process
- Gain confidence in your intuition
- Make genuinely cool new friends
All ages welcome. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

About the Artist
Jules Costa is the Founder of Bad Art Club, a movement that is upleveling collective joy through creative rebellion. She gives people permission to be themselves by celebrating imperfection. Jules is a certified Transformational Facilitator with years of experience supporting people to break free of conditioning, awaken to creativity, and open to new ways of being. Prior to starting Bad Art Club, Jules was a digital nomad - travelling the world, pursuing adventure and writing software - not a self-identified "artist". Bad Art Club is an extension of her personal journey to discovering that she is an artist just by virtue of being human, and so are you.
