📌 This clockwise loop hike heads past Ash Spring into Ash Canyon, ascends to the top of Ash Canyon with lots of class 2 and 3 scrambling, connects to the Rattlesnake Trail with a mix of hiking and class 2 scrambling down to Gateway Wash, then hikes up a steep trail, down Hell Hill, and across the desert to the cars.

No pets, children or guests. Everyone starts on the Wait list. You must be on the Going list to attend.
Scrambling is not hiking; it is climbing up, down, over, under, around and through rocks. If you are new to scrambling, you will learn about different techniques, terminology, gear and safety; all while being amongst the most amazing people and scenery in Las Vegas. Scrambling is challenging and FUN for anyone who enjoys adventure and doesn't mind a few scratches or bruises along the way.
A "Scrambling Skills" pin is now available to anyone who completes at least one each of Beginner Level, Advanced Beginner Level, Beginner Intermediate Level, and Intermediate Level "Scrambling Skills" hikes.
Meet at the far west end of the Kraft Mtn Trailhead dirt parking lot. No cell or internet service at the trailhead. Look for an old guy behind a red SUV.
